There are two ways to exempt a club member from paying a fee:
Permanent exemption: You can assign them a specific price type that doesn’t generate any fees. For example, if coaches don’t need to pay, you should create a price type with amount 0 and assign it to them.
One-time exemption: You can also mark a member as exempt only for specific months.
Additionally, the exemption can be applied at two different times:
Before the fee is generated: From the Club fee section.
After the fee has been generated: From the Generated payments section.

Below we explain how to mark people as exempt from upcoming payments in specific months.
Exempt members BEFORE the fee is created (and NOT sending the payment email)
Open Club fee
Click on Club in the top left corner
Click on Membership fees
Click on Club fee
Click on Manage members (as long as you’ve already created at least one fee).
Search for the name of the person you want to exempt and click on the calendar icon next to the amount.
Click on the amount and change it to 0 for the specific month you want to exempt.
Finish with Save
NOTE: Keep in mind that this will only exempt the person from future fees — not from those that have already been generated.
Note: If the person should always be exempt from payment, you’ll need to create an Exempt price type with a value of 0 and simply assign that price type to them.
Exempt members AFTER the fee is created
Open Membership fees and Created Payments
Click on Club in the top left corner
Click on Membership fees
Click on Created payments
Locate/search for member and click on on the far right under the Actions column in the same row as the member's name
Click on Change to: Exempt
Note: Here, you can only mark players as exempt for payments that have already been generated — NOT for future payments.
It is NOT possible to exempt people who have already paid their membership fees!
